Nejat delivered a powerful session on Communication and Emotional Intelligence for our Women in Medicine (WIM) Leadership Fellowship cohort. Her knowledge, expertise, and engaging delivery style resonated deeply with the fellows, mentors, and OS team. Nejat facilitated leadership sessions for our team that brought together colleagues across multiple business lines and leadership levels—and that was huge for us. Both the EQ session and the leadership/collaboration session were impactful in different ways, giving us the chance to better appreciate each other’s viewpoints. The DISC assessment highlighted each individual’s strengths, work style tendencies, and motivations, and provided insights we could immediately apply. The communication plans within the collaboration report were particularly useful in strengthening day-to-day interactions with our teams. The sessions not only built awareness but also gave us practical tools we continue to use.

Nejat led a session on Managing-Up at our Women With Vision Mastermind. The insights she shared on influence vs impression really hit home with me. Being a strong leader has to go further than leaving a good impression – we have to think about the influence we make and the lasting imprint that we as leaders have the ability to make. I had never deeply researched the topic “managing up” and wow the session was definitely eye opening.

I recruited Nejat as a presenter to our organization, Forty Plus of Greater Washington. She did a fantastic and extremely well-received presentation on Self Leadership – the path to leadership. She delivered a power-packed and very engaging talk that had every participant on the edge of their seat.
