Kathleen's diverse career and life experiences uniquely position her to connect with and inspire a wide range of audiences. With a professional journey that spans public service (a military spouse working for the Department of the Army), the corporate world and most recently, entrepreneurship, she leverages her unique "Lifelong Learning" experiences to help individuals and teams in cultivating a Resilient Motivation Growth Mindset.
While working for Army Community Services (ACS) in Germany, Kathleen developed a strong foundation in government operations, program management, and community support. During Operation Desert Storm, she was recognized for her work in the ACS Family Action Center supporting other Army spouses and families, fostering trust and providing critical resources needed to overcome challenging circumstances while their loved one was deployed. Through this experience, she honed her ability to listen deeply, empathize, and find solutions.
As her career evolved, Kathleen transitioned into the corporate sector working for a designer and manufacturer of materials and components for use in the electrical and electronics markets. Initially hired as an Executive Assistant to the General Counsel in the Legal Department, Kathleen demonstrated exceptional analytical skills which led to her promotion to IT Analyst within the IT Department. In this role, she performed network troublehsooting, server management, and application support. The experience she gained in technology broadened her solution fluency skills and strengthened her ability to adapt quickly.
Kathleen then advanced to the corporate healthcare sector, excelling as a Senior Paralegal within the Legal Department at a Fortune 500 healthcare company. She gained experience in the areas of litigation, regulatory, intellectual property and legal operations. This role sharpened her analytical and organizational skills while strengthening her ability to lead others through impactful communication, fostering confidence and a spirit of collaboration with others in the company as well as with outside counsel.
In 2024, Kathleen left the corporate world to pursue entrepreneurship. She is a Communication Stylist at EmpowerU2Be, LLC, and is a certified Taking Flight With DISC and EQ Facilitator.
When she’s not empowering others, Kathleen utilizes her parrot style to sing and act.
