Mary Ricketts, President and CEO, Turning Point Training and Development, is the organization's founder. Throughout her career, Mary has helped countless small business owners overcome the challenges they experience, offering laser-like focus, clarity of objective and strategic guidance on planning and effective execution techniques. Since answering her calling and making a career change from the Telecommunications industry to the Financial and Insurance industry in 2013, Mary has quickly become one of the most passionate, results oriented executive and business coaches operating today. It is by applying her 25+ years of experience in leadership, management and sales to her role of business coach and financial wellness advocate, that she is able to help business owners realize greater results, stay accountable to their dreams and achieve their short and long-term goals. Bringing a high level of energy and engagement to her audiences, Mary has uplifted minds and hearts with her knowledge and dynamic speaking style, conducting workshops across the country and acting as an expert for such organizations as the Small Business Administration, SCORE, the Kansas City Business Journal, the Yes She Can Women's Conference, the Linwood YMCA, the NBC Community Development Association and many others. A servant leader at heart, Mary serves on the Kansas RadXUp Community Advisory Team, and as a LHEAT facilitator and moderator for the RADxUP Worksite webinars. She is a Local Health Equity Action Team Advisor for the 20-county Communities Organizing to Promote Equity (COPE) Project for the state of Kansas. She is also the COVID CV-NEAT (COVID Neighborhood Action Team) Advisors for KCMO Health Department grant project. She is the Foundation Board Chair for Kansas City Kansas Community College and Board President of InnovateHER, Inc. as well as a past Board Member for the Spire Chamber Ensemble and the State of Kansas and Local Boards for the Parent Teacher Association. Mary is a proud native Kansas Citian, residing in Kansas City, Kansas.
