M. Brian Reid, MS, MA, MBA is a globally recognized thought leader in the fields of risk and resiliency. He has worked in a number of industries to help global firms become resilient. He is the CEO of Brison LLC., an independent security, risk, and crisis management advisory firm operating in the Americas region. He has 25+ years of corporate management and consulting experience in the fields of business continuity, security management, fraud detection and risk management with large global firms. Recently he led the Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) for a large Cybersecurity firm based in Silicon Valley.
An award-winning thought leader, M. Brian was responsible for the conduct of a country-level assessment of the Critical Infrastructure of a LNG exporting nation. He has spoken internationally at numerous security and resiliency conferences such as ASIS GSX, DRJ Fall World, The Smithsonian National Conference on Cultural Property Protection and BCI World. He was named as the first ever 2020 BCI Continuity and Resilience contributor for the Americas and one of the top three global thought leaders and influencers by IFSEC Global in 2021. Brian has served as a member of the ASIS International Global Board of Directors and has served in numerous volunteer leadership roles at various levels within the association.
An Engineering graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point, with master’s degrees in Business Administration (MBA), Organizational Security Management (MA) and Information Assurance (MS), He is Board certified in Security Management and certified at the highest grades in Business Continuity and Fraud Prevention. He is a trusted advisor to global corporations, helping them manage their risks to improve overall resilience. Consistently featured as one of the top global influencers in security, he continues to contribute to his profession and community through service on various boards and organizations.
