Mark McCatty
As a consultant, Mark has helped numerous organizations meet the challenge of creating high-involvement work environments. Mark will maintain focus, provide clear messages and communicate effectively. Mark will connect as well with C-Level managers, as he does with hourly team members.
For over 20 years I have provided clients with a realistic, objective view that comes from hard-earned experience. My well-rounded background has been developed through years of proven experience in manufacturing and production environments including oversea activities to establish and support plants in the Caribbean Basin, Central and South America. My OD consultation has allowed me to work in a variety of industries including manufacturing, financial institutions, sales and customer service, heavy industry, and Higher Ed university environments, to name a few.
Organizations today are missing a critical ingredient important for sustained business success. They are missing employee engagement, a sense of ownership. When employees and team members feel commitment and ownership about their work, they respond with more positive motivation for the work they do. They also respond better to change and are able to make the necessary changes and successfully adapt.
"In the absence of commitment, you have half-hearted compliance, or
whole-hearted defiance." -- Mark McCatty
I assist enterprise leaders in developing and sustaining high levels of motivation and in creating a culture with high levels of trust and collaboration; one that is ready for change. Where motivation is lacking, value is diminished and productivity, safety, and long-term success is limited. When change is resisted, opportunities are lost and productivity, safety, and long-term success are limited, as well.
I assist the enterprise in developing strong leadership and teaming practices. Focusing these practices and behaviors on both the technical and social environment contributes to a collaborative and results-focused environment.
As a leadership and team advisor, I have helped numerous organizations meet the challenge of creating high-involvement work environments. I have demonstrated the ability to maintain focus, provide clear direction, and communicate effectively with all levels of the organization. By transferring these critical skills to my clients' and their team members, I have helped these organizations achieve their world-class performance goals.
