Lisa doesn’t just ‘give presentations’, she creates an experience that engages your audience with compelling stories, interactive exercises, functional resources, and actionable takeaways. Lisa strives for those a-ha moments that propel your audience into action.

Audiences are drawn to her easy-going personality, engaging style, and high-level energy. Her keen ability to connect with audiences from 10 to 500, coupled with her knowledge and experience in leading high-performing teams with courage, makes her the surefire choice for any industry.

Lisa has wowed audiences at corporate events, women's leadership events, professional associations, and industry events, including INBOUND.

Twenty-two years of sales and leadership experience in one of the largest financial institutions in the US has taught Lisa what it takes to fuel success in a fast-paced, ever-changing business landscape. By building and leading a high-performing mortgage team that tripled sales production from $30 million to $90 million in three years, Lisa accelerated herself (and her team) to the top 5% of the company nationwide. Lisa excels at showing leaders what's possible when they live and lead with courage.

In living out her own value of courage,  Lisa inspired women from coast-to-coast by riding a motorcycle from New York City to San Francisco. Her 15-day, 4690-mile journey honored Avis and Effie Hotchkiss, the pioneering women who first accomplished this amazing feat in 1915. Lisa released The Inspired Tour documentary.

Lisa holds a Master's Degree from USF, is a Certified Dare to Lead Facilitator under the work of Brené Brown, is Everything DiSC certified, and a John Maxwell Team coach/trainer/speaker.

Courage: The Mark of a Leader Worth Following

Many of the great leaders of our time understand the key to not only effective leadership, but to living a life well lived. Winston Churchill. Maya Angelou. CS Lewis. Walt Disney. They all believe that the one virtue that upholds every other virtue is: COURAGE.

In this hands-on session, you’ll collaboratively explore the foundation of Brené Brown’s Dare to Lead work and practice the art of courageous leadership. Lisa Brouwer, a Certified Dare to Lead Facilitator, will...

From Armor to Grounded Confidence: The Making of a Daring Leader

Brené Brown wrote the book on courage. Literally. The title? Dare to Lead. She believes that the world needs braver leaders and more courageous cultures, and the way to cultivate both is to build skills around traits that are deeply and uniquely human. Vulnerability. Empathy. Emotional literacy. Compassion. Trust. Shame resilience. These are all at the heart of Daring Leadership.

In this interactive session, Lisa Brouwer, a Certified Dare to Lead Facilitator, will...

Navigating 'the Arena' When You're Called to be Brave

Have you ever stepped into a new place in your life and self-doubt over shadowed your self-confidence? Have you ever been knocked down, landed face down, and struggled to find the will to get back up? Have you ever been jeered at, sneered at, or cheered for while attempting something bigger than you?

If you answered YES to any of these questions then you understand what it means (and what it takes) to be brave.

In this hands-on session, Lisa...

Talking About Fears and Feelings... It's Not Just for Therapists Anymore

We’ve heard the message loud and clear that emotions don’t belong at work. They are messy, risky, unpredictable, and frankly get in the way of making decisions.  We’ve also heard the message ‘bring your whole self to work’ but if (or when) we do, only a few people have the skills (and confidence) to deal with the ‘whole self’.

But what if talking about fears and feelings is a pathway to unlocking potential in people and yourself? What if you could use thoughts and...

What Words Do You Live By?

There is an underlying current in your life that affects every decision you make, contributes to your happiness (or unhappiness), determines how you approach problems and opportunities, creates alignment with who you want to be, and even brings clarity in a crisis.

Unfortunately, most people haven’t spent much time defining exactly what this important anchoring and navigation system is.

In this hands-on session, Lisa Brouwer, a Certified Dare...

Your Worthiness is Not at Stake: Shame Resilience and the Journey to Enoughness

When you step into a space that feels bigger than you, you might hear a voice that whispers, ‘You’re not enough... who do you think you are? What will people think?’ Brené Brown labels this as a ‘shame tape’, the messages of self-doubt and self-criticism that play on repeat in your head. It’s these messages that you start to believe, keeping you small and holding you back from being brave in your work or your life.

In this interactive, thought-provoking session, Lisa...

From Braving to Belonging: Women and the Pursuit of Enoughness

The bar has been set astronomically high. Be a trophy wife. Be a perfect mom. Be a successful business woman. Be a social butterfly. Be an empathic friend. And... do all these things the way Ginger Rogers danced... backwards and in high heels. Who decided that this unreachable, unrealistic facade was to be the measuring stick?

We all know that woman doesn’t exist, right? So why do we feel the need to perform, perfect, please, posture, and prove we are enough? The voice...
