Kitty Boitnott is the "Go To" Lifestyle Educator when it comes to stress management and work-life balance. Kitty offers seven (7) SUREFIRE strategies that help manage and reduce physical and psychological stress while building resilience needed to deal with the everyday changes and challenges of living in the 21st century. With over 40% of Americans suffering from some stress-related ailment and between 75% and 90% of all visits to primary health care providers being the result of a stress-related complaint, stress is an increasingly important public health concern.

Those who experience Kitty's workshop on stress management learn:  (1) what stress is and how it affects the human brain and body; (2) what the individual stressors for each participant is because they are given an assessment while in the workshop; and (3) what the seven SUREFIRE strategies that participants can start practicing right away that will reduce their stress reaction while building their physical and emotional resilience for the future.

The strategies provided are research based and timely given the increased concern about the negative affects of stress on our overall health and the need for individuals to intentionally create work-life balance that works.

In addition to being a Certified Life and Stress Management Coach, Kitty has a Ph.D. in Educational Leadership. She also has training as a holistic life coach and is a career development and transition coach associated with CareerHMO, a company dedicated to helping the unemployed and the under employed find a job that is both satisfying and fulfilling. Before becoming a coach, Kitty was an educator and teacher leader. She was President of the Virginia Education Association from 2008-2012 and spoke to hundreds of people in groups of all sizes on topics related to public education, education reform, and student advocacy.
