Gabriela Ostendorfer, Professional Speaker, Emcee and Life Coach, inspires and motivates people to wake up, pay attention and ignite their lives. Gabriela has not swum a major body of water, nor climbed a mountain peak. She has not run a marathon, nor has written a book - yet. But she has reached a number of meaningful milestones and personal accomplishments along the way. Here is what she has done - lived a full and rich life as an educator, consultant, coach and light leader. She has a Master of Arts in Behavioural Sciences and has completed training in Core Connexion Transformational Arts, a practice of embodied movement, meditation and creative expression.
Gabriela looks to nature for clues on living life and draws inspiration from good coffee, contemplative photography, poetry and the wonders of walking. She is an enthusiastic locavore, a supporter of the arts and a discerning coffee shop explorer.
A dedicated member of Miracles Toastmaster Club in Calgary, Gabriela has won Toastmaster Contests at the Club, Area, Division and District levels. The International Award has eluded her but remains in her sights. One of Gabriela's passions is Need Knickers, a fundraising campaign that provides dignity to women living in shelters or in transition with new, clean underwear - personally delivered to 10 shelters each autumn during an annual Cross Canada RV Drive.
