In addition to his duties as a CBS network affiliate sports anchor, Babe Laufenberg is also a radio sportscaster and color analyst. He was selected as the "Sportscaster of the Year" for the State of Texas by the National Sportswriters and Sportscasters Association. An '83 graduate of Indiana University, where he still holds numerous season and career passing records, Laufenberg was drafted by the Washington Redskins and was a member of their '83 Super Bowl team. During his 8-year career as a quarterback in the NFL, he played for Hall of Fame coaches Bill Walsh and Joe Gibbs and spent his last two seasons with the Dallas Cowboys.
