Recycling Black Dollars
Muhammad Nassardeen, CEO of Recycling Black Dollars (RBD), founded the organization in 1988. Mr. Nassardeen was inspired to start RBD after overhearing degrading remark about the credibility of African-American professionals by other African-Americans. With that in mind he began to educate African-Americans on the importance of Recycling Black Dollars in their community. Mr. Nassardeen immediately initiated marketing plans to change the negative images and myths that permeate our community, to help strengthen existing African-American businesses and create new ones.
In an effort to bring his message to the forefront, Nassardeen has positioned himself as a notable public speaker addressing such forums as the Congressional Black Caucus, NAACP Western Conference, the National Black MBA Association, the White House Conference on Small Business, and the LA Black Business Expo & Trade Show. He has and continues to speak on a variety of topics.
