Attendees will learn how to step into financial freedom by crushing the lies that hold them back. They'll come away armed with tools to align their finances with their purpose and life goals.

Single mom and passionate financial literacy advocate, Karen Oeser, is driven to help women break free from the chains that bind them and find the courage to dive into their finances. She bravely shared her story in #1 Amazon Bestselling Book "Aspire: Women Finding Their Purpose" to inspire women to reframe the lessons of their past to learn how they can serve others to make the world a better place.

Throughout her 25-year investment career, Karen was distraught to contin¬uously see high-salaried women seeking retirement advice at the END of their careers and realizing that they would not have enough to live their retirement dreams comfortably. She was also saddened to see the number of women living paycheck to paycheck, feeling as if there was no way out of their financial despair. So, she decided to do something about it in 2020 and partnered with Erica Neal to launch Financial Literacy for Her. They specifically designed the program to help women develop healthy financial habits by addressing the mindset issues that trip them up.

Erica and Karen then took it up a notch in 2021. They published an Amazon #1 bestseller "Mind of Gold: A Girlfriend's Guide to Financial Freedom" to help women discover their personal and financial identities while encouraging positive relationships and generational impact. The book was so well-received that they turned it into an online course targeting single moms.

Over the years, Karen has utilized her position as a board member with many organizations to create opportunities for women in finance. On her current board seat with CFA Society South Carolina, she co-leads the society's "Women's in Investment Management Initiative" to encourage gender diversity in the investment management profession.

In her capacity as a pastor and Licensed Minister of Dance, Karen works with families who have loved ones struggling with drug addiction, mental illness, and incarceration. In her free time, she loves spending time with her sons, being in the outdoors, traveling, and volunteering at her church.
