Mary Carillo is a sports broadcaster who works for NBC Sports on its Olympics and tennis coverage. The 2018 Winter Games in PyeongChang, South Korea was Carillo's 14th Olympics. Carillo has also served as a correspondent on HBO's Real Sports since 1997 and previously worked for USA Network, PBS, MSG, Turner Sports, ESPN & CBS Sports. Carillo has won two Peabody Awards for her work on HBO documentaries, one for co-writing with Frank DeFord Dare To Compete: The Struggle of Women in Sport and the other for Billie Jean King: Portrait of a Pioneer. She also won a Sports Emmy for her feature on Real Sports of the Hoyt family. Carillo was named by the World Tennis Association in 1981 and 1985 as "Broadcaster of the Year" and by World Tennis Magazine in 1986 and Tennis Magazine in 1988-1991 as "Best Commentator".
