I guide students to conquer negative influences, connect with their voice, and create THEIR success

Nick Tokman, also known as "Sunshine" on Discovery Channel's "Deadliest Catch," is someone known for his constant, upbeat attitude and going after what he wants in life. Nick has been on the Emmy-Winning show for the past four seasons battling some of the harshest working conditions known to man including 30-35 foot waves, freezing temperatures, extreme physical labor and plus 20-hour work days. Nick has proven himself physically, mentally, and emotionally able to overcome even the hardest obstacles in life. Although e can be seen on the show, what is not known is his story.

Nick's mission is to inspire people to be confident in who they are, to go after what they want in life and to never, under any circumstances, give up. Nick came to the realization that there is something intrinsically inside each person that compels them to do what they want to do. That is their gift to be shared with the world. By ignoring that voice they are not themselves. By listening to it, they become who they are meant to be and begin to change the world into a better place.

Journey to the Deadliest Catch

Many students ask themselves, "Why can't I just be me and be accepted for it? Am I good enough?" Pressures are coming at teens and "tweens" from all directions: peer pressure at school, the struggle to fit in, high expectations from family, the destructive power of negativity, distractions from social media... This can rob them of their self-esteem and divert their focus from what matters most, making them uncertain as to what they want to do with their lives.

Pursue the Career you Love & Be Successful

Nick learned when you're on a boat, you're not just an employee. You are a part owner. You do whatever you can to make the operation smoother.

Your employees are among your company's most valuable assets. Your success depends on their ability to perform at the highest level; in turn, their ability to perform optimally depends in large part on motivation and morale.
