PhD, HCS, SWP
MD, USDr. Powell is a military veteran serving 20 plus awesome combined years in the USMC and U.S. Army. Highlighes of military services are numerous military awards and having the pleaseure of serving with the 10th Special Forces, Join Communication Support Element and 5th Signal Battalion, Berlin Germany (to name a few overseas and U.S. locations)
Currently Dr. Powell serves as the Chief Executive Officer for a training and public speaking LLC, Leadership Integrity Services.
He has authored several articles and recently authored and released a book titled: The Ethics of Leadership; Your thoughts matter (published April 2018) Book can be purchaed at Amazon.com

Dr. Powell continued serving his country after military retirement by serving in the federal work space serving at organizations such as the Army Corps of Engineers, United States Coast Guard, Department of Homeland Security, Army Intelligence (G-2) Pentagon and the Defense Intelligence Agency.
Positions held ranged from Information Technology Specialist to Branch Chief to Deputy Director of the Central Region of the U.S. where he had 6 direct reports and approx 1,500 govenment IT and contract personnel under his leadership.
He also served in the postion of Deputy Director for Human capital where he was directly responsible for providing guidance for personal and professional development of employees. He developed a leadership deveopment program, mentor program and command development program for IT personnel that directly aligned with U.S. Army current and future enterprise archiceture (people and technology).
Dr. Powell earned a B.S. Degree in Computer Information Systems Management from from Colorado Christian University, a M.A. Degree in Telecommunication Management from Webster University, and a Doctoral Degree (D.M.) in Organizational Management and Leadership from the University of Phoenix.
Dr. Powell completed the Department of Homeland Security Senior Fellows Program and earned certificates in IT Program Management, Configuration Management, Chief Information Officer, Army Staff College and Information Assurance, to name a few. His passions are leadership, management and growing and developing people.
