Mimi Brown -Leadership, Motivational Keynote

I had a great experience today with Mimi. Seeing her presentation about personal branding for the girls, we could really see how engaged they were and how she was really able to relate to them on their level, but also to give them the information that they needed. I would recommend this to other people, to other groups, because it's just a really great way to show girls that they can do and be whatever it is they want to be, and kind of teach them the skills that they need to know in a way that relates to them.

Mimi, you were wonderful. The spontaneity of your messaging, as well as the information that you were sharing was most important to the audience. You had them spellbound, you had them laughing, you had them introspectively thinking about themselves, and you had them participating in something that one, they didn't know anything about, but two, they began realizing that they knew a lot about the peripheral things, but now starting to be introverted and asking them their why's, what was important to them, and what was their message, what was their brand became very really to them. So I think that you held them captive. It was unfortunate that you didn't have quite as much time as you had anticipated, but you got the messages across. You nailed it and I love just the spontaneity of you, your verve for life, and the positive messaging that you were giving to them about yourself and about them. Thank you.

Mimi did such a wonderful job today. We were so excited when we were able to book her to talk to our students at the Go Red Go Stem event. This is the inaugural event here in Michigan. She was such an inspiration. What I loved about her is that she really talked about the girls about being in power. She talked about being an inspiration and owning their personal brand. With this generation, they really need to be cognitive of what they put on social media, and she made it so personable, and so we're so thankful to have her speak for American Heart Association and to have her as our closing speaker, and she did an amazing job. I really highly recommend ... It was fun because Mimi is so energetic, enthusiastic and she really motivates people. It was just fun because now you have something you walk away with that you can really put into action. By looking at it all the time, hung in my office or in my bathroom, it's just an amazing reminder of her great classes. I highly recommend that you take one. Mimi, no question, was the highlight of our day. You saw the girls lean forward, lean in, when she started to talk about her presentation, talk about personal branding, talk about self-confidence, sharing her personal story. It really, truly was the key to rounding out our way to giving these girls the step forward that they need to go out in the world, express themselves, look at themselves in a different manner, and just all around embrace their personal brand. She was phenomenal. We couldn't have asked for anything better.

Dear Mimi, I want to thank you for the outstanding presentation at our annual conference. The breakout session, "The Magic of Recruiting" was truly an educational experience for our representatives. You really helped our representatives understand the ins and outs of recruiting. Historically, EBW reps claim that they want to recruit but they don't do it, usually because they don't know where to start.  You not only showed them how to get started but also, gave them step-by-step instructions for creating a plan for recruiting.  You taught them the recruiting process. I was really impressed with your content, connection, and experience with recruiting. Many reps approached me and thanked them for having you present.  Often times they suggested that you should have been on the main stage because your presentation was so good.  In the survey that I sent to all conference participants, your breakout session was the only one that 100% of ladies who responded ranked your presentation as "very relevant". I liked how you had the audience actually think of and write down ways of touching their customers/potential recruits.  This gave them something concrete that they could do as soon as they got home. My biggest "aha" was when I realized that we should have given you way more time because you were such a great presenter and I could listen to you for hours. You had so much information that I wanted others to hear. I would absolutely recommend this training.  Your presentation was effective and motivating.  You were knowledgeable about the subject and have proof that your formula works as evidenced by the recruiting that you do in your own business. I think that you were the most polished and prepared presenter at the entire conference.  I learned more from you about how to give an effective presentation.  You rocked it, Mimi! These are just a few comments we heard after Mimi Brown's presentation on "Using the 4 Communication Styles to Gain Connection, Skyrocket Confidence and Reduce Conflict". Over 114 suppliers and planners attended the January MPI CAP'D luncheon in Houston, TX and all agreed the topic resonated with them. I personally learned that I'm a reflector and take time to listen, process and then respond to others. Thanks Mimi for helping me to identify my personal communication style. On a side note.
